About Me

  • I am a Christian (I’m not perfect though) and even though I am a sinner (and we all are. Romans 3:23). I believe Jesus Christ Died for my sins on the cross and was raised for my justification. I strive to live by the bible even though I don’t read it enough. I have set up a daily bible verse on the top of my website. And I read it every day and sometimes I read more. I have been saved by Jesus (John 14:6 / John 3:16). Once you received Jesus as your Saviour and Lord, you enjoy incredible and unexplainable peace.
  • I love my wife and I love my kids. God had a plan for me that I did not know about, that’s why I’m in the USA.
  • I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Degree completion date: June 2005). Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, Monterrey Campus (http://www.itesm.mx/). Know more here.
  • I like to spend time with my family (even if we are not doing “anything”). I also like to eat (who doesn’t?), I like deer hunting, I like to take vacations, exercising, triathlons (my new thing I guess) and I like to test “things” like this website/blog (another new thing…). I also like technology even though I tried to deny that for a long time.
  • I like helping friends as much as I can.
  • I am an entrepreneur by heart (I believe). I do like my current job at ABC Group :)

I enjoyed your Triatholon Video! i laughed When the horn went off, and everybody bolted into the water! I have never, ever, seen anything like that before. There is kind of a “firedrill” hysteria to it, like everybody is in a frenzy.

It makes me laugh even writing about it. Like the kind of laugh I get when when a fantastic musician “shreds” an instrument.

I broke into spontaeous laughter once watching my friend David Leinweber ripping a ‘Zeplin tune and solos on his electric guitar, when the strings started flying off! It didn’t faze him a bit- he just went on playing on the remaining strings. By the time he was done, Half the strings were dangling all over the place. He actually shredded the guitar and the music. This was at “Porchfest”, and the crowd went absolutely nuts. I was playing the drums and watching Dave, laughing my head off.

Anyway. You turned in a VERY respectable placement. And to think it was your first one. Incredible.

    WAY TO GO!

    Hey!

I didn’t answer your questions. I like your “About Me” page and what you wrote about youself and the other content.

I’m a little overwhelmed by the page, though, and am not sure what it all is. Maybe you left some of the categories there from the template.
Did you write the stuff about Google adds?
I wasn’t sure if some of the content was put there by you.

This looks more refined than the other blog. It’s almost like a website all its own. :)

Thank you Trevor, I’m glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for the analogy to the musician “shreding” an instrument (I can see that happening…) The categories on the left is where the posts are sorted out (by categories and I created them). Your comments were left on the about me page and that’s ok too. This page is just a little “snapshot” of me and that’s it, it’s not organized or anything. I really don’t know how to modify the location of the top links but the main updates would be in the middle of the page right coming to it. In regards to the google ads, I had seen the ads before but I just found the info on another blog and I just referenced it on my blog and commented about it. This is like a website on it’s own, you’re right :)

    Wow,
I can’t believe all the categories! this is an awesome blog. It kinda takes on a life of it’s own.

I’ve been doing the 2 miles each morning. I know I should make it longer, and start some abs or curls, or anything.

I caught a nasty cold, and am feeling a little sluggish. I keep going, though. Walking is really an indespensible part of my day. Sometimes I feel like it is absolutely the best time of my whole day!

I’ve been taking astragulus and echinacea every day since the cold hit, and I must say- that I think the severity and probably the duration of it are going to be minimized.

Astragulus stimulates white blood cell production. Echinacea stimulates the immune system. Of course, these herbs are not for everybody, you should consult a Dr. or Herbalist, and use common sense when using them. These particular ones are NOT for everyday or long-term use. But if you get hit with what I’ve been hit with, go for the big guns!

I don’t like being sick, especially since my body belongs to God, so I visualize the little “immune army” “kicking” those little roagues in the pants. They say, “YOU’RE OUT’A HERE! SO TAKE THAT, You little rougue viruses you! we’re not going to put up with the likes of you! Viruses are not welcome in God’s temple.

So there you go… Astragulas and Ecinacea.

Also, I recommend nasal flushes. (saline solution) I once asked my Doctor about it. He said “Oh, yeah. That’s what people used to do before they went to Doctors. Nah, that won’t hurt you a bit.” :)
